An award-winning string quartet will perform at a venue in Cumbria later this month.
The Tallan String Quartet, studying at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, will visit Wigton's Methodist Church on April 26.
Primarily playing Haydn and Beethoven, the concert will open with a piece called Midnight Spires, written by British composer Grace-Evangeline Mason.
It will conclude with two short pieces by Shostakovich, an elegy, and an exciting polka.
Tickets for the event, which starts at 7.30pm, are £10 in advance, £12 on the door, and £2 for students.
They are available from David Ferriby, contactable by email at david@ferriby.co.uk, or by phone at 016973 43351.
