HOW THEY MET: At the family pub Smugglers in Bransty in 1996.

PROPOSAL: While on holiday in Salou in 1999.

VENUE: The Washington Central Hotel, Workington, on September 15, 2007.

THEME: Pink and silver.

BRIDE’S OUTFIT: A Maggie Sottero blush pink gown with a lace bodice from I Do in Cockermouth.

GROOMSMEN: Geoff Joyce was best man. Paul Smitham, Martin Thompson and the groom’s brother Lee Atkinson were ushers. The bride and groom’s son Tyler Wilson and the bride’s nephews Ellis and Robbie Moffitt were page boys. They wore morning suits from Greenwoods in Workington.

BRIDESMAIDS: The bride’s sisters Dawn Moffitt and Stephanie Cruden were maids of honour. The bride’s cousin Katrina Hughes was a bridesmaid. They wore silver dresses from Coast. The bride and groom’s one-year-old daughter Maisie Wilson was a flowergirl. She wore a pink and white dress from Little Angels, Workington.

FLOWERS: A hand-tied bouquet of cream roses. The bridesmaids had smaller bouquets of pink gerberas from Rose Budz, of Whitehaven.

RECEPTION: A three-course meal at the Washington Central Hotel for 80 guests with a further 160 in the evening.

TABLE SETTINGS: Silver pillar candles surrounded by pink and silver flowers from Rose Budz.

FAVOURS: Continental chocolates for the ladies and scratch cards for the men.

CAKE: A three-tier, white-iced chocolate cake decorated with pink gerberas made by a family friend.

FIRST DANCE: Truly by Lionel Richie.

ENTERTAINMENT: Disco by Ultimate Sounds.

HONEYMOON: Tenerife.
