HOW THEY MET: At Christmas in 2000 and they met up again in March the following year.
PROPOSAL: After going out for a meal in July 2004, Chris put Michelle’s favourite song on and asked her to marry him.
VENUE: Crown Hotel, Wetheral, on September 8, 2007.
THEME: Pink and Love Heart sweets.
BRIDE’S OUTFIT: A Rosetta Nicolini Michelle ivory satin gown with a full train decorated in pink crystal beading and a lace-up back from Berketex Bride, Carlisle.
GROOMSMEN: Andrew Dowie was best man. Stuart Burgess and Darren Johnstone were ushers. Harry Ewbank, eight, was page boy. They wore black suits with fuschia waistcoats and cravats.
BRIDESMAIDS: The bride’s sister Ruth Ramsay, the groom’s daughters Lauren and Abbie Blythe, friends Louise Latta, Jayne Boothman, Meg Leslie, Chloe and Georgia Goodger were bridesmaids. They wore fuschia Dessy dresses from Capricorn. Erin Ewbank and Ava Leslie were flowergirls and wore ivory Dessy dresses with fuschia sashes. Lee Oneil was a bestman for Michelle .
FLOWERS: The bride had a hand-tied bouquet of pink and fuschia gerberas with smaller versions for the bridesmaids. All made by the bride’s friend Liz Beck.
TRANSPORT: Black limousines from Executive Cars. The bride travelled in her own pink Ka driven by her friend Alan Park.
RECEPTION: Crown Hotel for 75 guests with 60 more in the evening.
TABLE SETTINGS: Vases with pink gerberas and wine glasses filled with Love Heart sweets.
FAVOURS: Boxes filled with Love Heart sweets and novelty cups filled with goodies for the children.
CAKE: A three-tier, pink cake made by friend Mary Beck.
FIRST DANCE: Love Is In The Air by John Paul Young.
ENTERTAINMENT: Disco by Mr Pop.
HONEYMOON: Las Vegas, New York and Sandals resort Antigua.
