HOW THEY MET: On a night out in Workington in 2003.
PROPOSAL: Outside Cinderella’s castle in Disneyland, Florida, in September 2006.
VENUE: A civil ceremony at the Greenhill Hotel, Wigton on March 21.
THEME: Butterflies and pearls.
BRIDE’S OUTFIT: A San Patrick ivory dress from Wedding Warehouse in Whitehaven with an ivory veil and Swarovski crystal detail. The bride borrowed a silver tiara from her bridesmaid Andrea Norman.
GROOMSMEN: Ryan Maine, 24, was best man. The bride’s step-brother Gareth Pattinson, 19, and friend Chris Thompson, 33, were ushers. They wore dark grey suits with tails, ivory waistcoats with oyster cravats from Tom Little, Maryport. The bride’s son Jay Fisher, seven, was a ring bearer. The bride’s nephew Ethan Scott, one, was a page boy.
BRIDESMAIDS: The bride’s sister Victoria Harris, 24, was chief bridesmaid. Danielle Skillen, 29, Andrea Norman, Leanne Wear, both 27, and Debbie Gilmour, 25, were bridesmaids. They wore gold dresses from Debut Debenhams. Saffron Maxwell, three, was a flowergirl and wore an ivory dress from Next.
FLOWERS: The bride had a bouquet of cream roses with pearl overlay from Inspirations, Workington, and the bridesmaids carried similar.
TRANSPORT: A Daimler and a Beauford from Highams Wedding Services, Hayton.
RECEPTION: Greenhill Hotel for 70 guests with a further 120 in the evening.
TABLE SETTINGS: Tall vases with church candles, pearl detail on coloured sand and crystals. There was also butterfly confetti and butterflies on the glasses.
FAVOURS: Cadbury’s mini eggs in organza pouches and personalised Easter eggs for the children.
CAKE: A three-tier, ivory-iced chocolate and sponge cake with gold ribbon, sugar roses and butterflies made by a family friend, Anne Gillespie, and Mary Hoskins.
FIRST DANCE: Have I Told You Lately by Rod Stewart.
ENTERTAINMENT: Motiv8 disco and Broken English band.
HONEYMOON: Hong Kong, Bangkok and Koh Samui.
