A TWO-DAY rock festival in Beckermet has been hailed a huge success.
Young fans: Two young fans listen to Kalmer and, above, crowds enjoy the show
Over 20 bands played at the White Mare over the weekend and £1,300 was raised for Wasdale Mountain Rescue team.
Around 500 people attended on each day.
Manager at the White Mare, Philip Ward, said: “It was brilliant, for a little village like Beckermet. People said they enjoyed the atmosphere and there was no trouble.”
The event will take place again next year.
