Gr-Eight Northside

NORTHSIDE were the biggest winners in the Premier Division last weekend as they put eight goals past Deer Orchard.

There were two goals apiece for Kyle Galea, Mike O’Leary and Gareth O’Leary, with Keiron Doyle and Jamie Moore also finding the net.

Deer Orchard’s replies came from Jackson Ralph and Ben Walker.

Bluebell were also among the goals as they defeated Bounty 6-1.

David Hill struck a hat-trick for the home side, as Wayne Donaughee, Jonathan Bowe and Rob McDonald scored the other goals. Stephen Stoddard netted a consolation for Bounty.

The only other Premier League match played resulted in a goalless draw between Red House Athletic and Yankees.

The game featuring Dearham and Red Lion was postponed.

In Division One, Borough were the big winners as they overwhelmed Vine Bar 7-0.

Their goalscorers were Daniel Tape (2), Gary Barnes (2), Garth Young (2) and Lee McAllister.

Grasslot earned themselves an away win by beating The Well 2-0 thanks to strikes from Mark Brown and Martin Sewell.

Senhouse and FC 32 drew 1-1, with Peter Whitehead scoring for the home team and Stuart Gray netting for FC 32.

In Division Two, Letters Inn and Flimby shared eight goals resulting in a 4-4 draw.

Darren Wilson scored a hat-trick for Flimby and Darren McKenzie also found the net.

Miners Arms earned a 3-1 win over Red House.

Andrew Bezuszko (2) and Andrew Marshalsea did the damage, with Gary Hazlewood scoring for Red House.
