Harraby CC 2 Netherhall 1 AET: Harraby reached the last eight of the Cumberland FA Senior Cup.
Harraby striker Lee Otway caught the eye and in the 16th minute he slipped the ball to James Earl who lifted his effort over the bar.
Marc Shiel fired a shot that rebounded to safety off an upright in the 25th minute after good build-up play involving Ashley Combe.
Just before the break, Lowes nearly snatched the lead for Netherhall as he snapped up an intended back-pass to bring the best out of Ian Milburn who leapt to make the save.
Harraby had the better of the exchanges at the beginning of the second period and Lowes tested Milburn before Otway was again foiled by Petit who tipped his angle drive around the post.
The visitors nearly snatched a dramatic winner in the 90th minute when Lowes spotted Milburn off his line and his 20-yard lob rebounded off the top of the crossbar and was thankfully cleared as the tie went into a period of extra-time.
Andrew Lowes finally broke the deadlock in the 93rd minute when he fired past Milburn to give Netherhall the advantage. But that lead only last two minutes before substitute Brett Swift sent Ashley Combe heading for goal and the wing-back’s angled drive went beyond the keeper into the far corner for the equalising goal.
There was only seven minutes remaining when Harraby scored the winning goal after Otway beat two defenders with his pace before crossing from the bye-line for Rob Bainbridge to side-foot home from close range.
