HOW THEY MET: On a night out in Carlisle.
PROPOSAL: At home before going out for a meal in June 2007.
VENUE: St Cuthbert’s Church, Carlisle on June 28.
BRIDE’S OUTFIT: Mori Lee pure white dress with diamante detail from Cumbria Bridal Centre, Whitehaven; a short veil decorated with diamantes, tiara and matching jewellery from Debenhams Carlisle.
GROOMSMEN: The groom’s best friend from childhood Marc McAlindon, 28, was best man. Kevin Brown and Paul Johnson, both 28, were ushers. They wore full morning suits and cravats from Image, Carlisle.
BRIDESMAIDS: The bride’s sister Sarah McIntosh, 29, was maid of honour. The groom’s sister Laura Magri, 25, Ruth Paisley and Ruth Crabtree, both 23, were bridesmaids. They wore fuchsia dresses with sweetheart necklines from Country Dreams in Carlisle.
FLOWERS: Cerise and white bouquets of roses from Staceys Florist, Carlisle.
TRANSPORT: A 1964 double-decker Leyland bus supplied by Judith Hodgson.
RECEPTION: Rheged for 100 guests during the day and 140 in the evening.
TABLE SETTINGS: Cerise sashes on the seats provided by Finishing Touches, pink and silver balloons supplied by Rheged, sparkly glass gems and Tickled Pink cameras.
CAKE: A three-tier cake with pink roses made by Margaret Burnham, of Lamonby.
FIRST DANCE: To Be With by Mr Big.
ENTERTAINMENT: Misty River Disco.
HONEYMOON: Pooley Bridge and York.
