HOW THEY MET: Through friends.
PROPOSAL: Adrian proposed over a meal at the Royal Yew, Dean on December 3, 2004.
VENUE: St Mary’s Church, Maryport on June 21.
BRIDE’S OUTFIT: An Eternity Bride ivory silk dress with fitted bodice and Swarovski crystals from I Do, of Cockermouth; and a three-layered veil and tiara encrusted with crystals from Beaus n Belles, of Workington.
GROOMSMEN: Paul Armstrong was best man. The bride’s brother Darren Sewell, the groom’s brother Mark Wilson and the bride and groom’s son Levi Wilson were ushers. The bride and groom’s son Regan Wilson was a page boy. They wore Prince Edward suits, ivory and mocha waistcoats and scrunch ties from Tom Little, of Maryport.
BRIDESMAIDS: Janelle Nixon was chief bridesmaid. Angela Morton, Samantha Foster, Debra Tremble, the bride’s cousins Kerry Blair, Stephanie Blair and Emily Charters were bridesmaids. The bride and groom’s niece Ashton Wilson was a flowergirl. They wore bustier mocha dresses with an ivory trim from Beaus n Belles. Emily and Ashton wore ivory butterfly dresses.
FLOWERS: The bride had a hand-tied bouquet of ivory roses and calla lilies with diamantes with smaller versions for the bridesmaids – all from Seaton Garden Centre.
TRANSPORT: An open-top Beauford and Daimler from Highams Wedding Services, of Hayton.
RECEPTION: A three-course meal for 100 guests at Hunday Manor, Workington, with a further 60 in the evening for a buffet.
CAKE: A three-tier fruit and chocolate sponge decorated with calla lilies, diamantes and ivory ribbon.
FIRST DANCE: I Do by Westlife.
ENTERTAINMENT: Disco by Highams Wedding Services.
