Bowler Taylor beats world number two Gourlay

Trevor Taylor, assistant manager at Cumbria Indoor Bowls Club in Carlisle, scored one of the best wins of his bowling career when beating World Number 2 David Gourlay at Burgess Hill in Sussex yesterday in the second round of the World Bowls Tour International Open.

Taylor goes through to a quarter-final tie against Brett Wilkie of Canada at 10.30am tomorrow,
