Workington Comets legend Carl Stonehewer is to double-up next season in the Elite League.
After 10 years with the Comets, Stoney joined Redcar Bears for 2009 and has also joined Poole Pirates to share a reserve spot.
And the man he will be sharing the reserve slot with is no stranger top Derwent Park fans either, tearaway Pole Tomasz Piszcz who will be back this coming season with Birmingham Brummies.
Former GP man Stonehewer, who will also be riding for Redcar, will take the majority of the fixtures with Birmingham's Piszcz also in the squad.
Poole chief Matt Ford said: "Both of these racers will add a sting to the Pirates' tail. I think we have an ideal blend of youth and experience."
We exclusively revealed last month that Stoney had been talking with Poole about doubling-up after he had spoken with both Sheffield and Glasgow before settling on Redcar for his Premier League base in 2009.
Another Elite League club who have gone into the Premier League for a reserve-share arrangement are Wolverhampton.
They will use Chris Kerr and Ty Proctor to share one of the reserve positions next season.
Kerr is set to link up with Newport in the Premier League and Proctor will stay with Redcar whilst doubling-up with the Monmore men.
Promoter Chris Van Straaten said: “Both riders are based in Wolverhampton and they have been regulars on a Monday night. They are passionate about the club.”
William Lawson has completed a move to Berwick from Premier League champions Edinburgh. Lawson becomes the new number one rider for the Bandits who are under new management.
Boss Dave Peet said: “William has great ability and we’re delighted to have him at the club next season. He gives us real strength and I also feel it’s a good move for the lad at this stage of his career.”
Stoke Potters have signed experienced Welshman Phil Morris in a loan deal from Premier League rivals Birmingham.
The Potters' website, meanwhile, is reporting the capture of Danish rider Tom P Madsen, who was with Reading last season.
Promoter Dave Tattum said: "Phil is a steal on his 5.88 average and I really think he will come in and do a good job for us next season."
