Workington Town extend ticket and shirt deal

Workington Town have extended their successful season ticket and shirt packages.

Following high demand from fans for the new shirts and tickets, the club has moved the deadline back to January 9. Home shirts and some away tops are available from Derwent Park now so there is still plenty of opportunity for people to take advantage of the special offers.

For adults, the package price is £110 and includes a season ticket (standing) for all home games in the Northern Rail Cup and Championship One, plus a shirt. A grandstand ticket is £120.

And for children, the price is just £50 and includes a shirt and a season rover ticket which includes all home and away games in NRC and Championship One.

The package has been so successful, it saw sales up over 50 per cent on last season for Town.

The tops have now been unveiled and Stephen Dawes and Neil Frazer are pictured with the new kits.

Town have had to redesign both home and away kits because of the new rules that say all Co-operative championship teams must display individual players’ names and squad numbers on their shirts.

The new home kit is a modern version of the traditional strip with the blue band that most fans will associate with as the club’s true colours.

Workington have turned the clock back for their new away playing strip, going back to the colours they played their first game in - against Broughton Rangers, at Borough Park.

Town, wearing green and red hoops, were victorious that day, winning 27-5 in front of an enthralled audience of 4,100.
