Another Workington plan that needs more thought

ANOTHER half baked idea like the new sports stadium is the proposal to spend up to £3 million on a 300 seater lecture hall at the Carnegie (Times & Star, August 24) when a purpose built 1,200 seater theatre at The Opera House would give Workington a civic theatre/arts centre to be proud of.
