Reds up for the cups

IT’S a big cup week coming up and it would be a big let down if Reds didn’t progress in both fixtures.

Where’s the Reds spark gone?

REDS’ indifferent form this season is plagued with the same mistakes that saw them finish mid-table last year too.

I'm sad to see Mat Henney leave Workington Reds

MAT Henney’s decision to leave Borough Park will leave fans with mixed feelings and it’s easy to understand why. (1 comment)

What went wrong?

I DON’T know if it was complacency, a loss of concentration or just not adapting to the torrential downpour over the last 15 minutes of Tuesday’s match with Farsley, but to throw away a two-goal lead inside the last seven minutes is unacceptable.

A good test, but Reds still must win

SO IT’S Rushden & Diamonds in the fourth qualifying round draw for the FA Cup next weekend and to be honest I don’t know what I think of it.

Barrow's knee-jerk reaction for Mat Henney

WHY Barrow would be interested in Reds winger Mat Henney is beyond me. It is a complete knee-jerk reaction.

This is what football is all about

dutch 1109 WORKINGTON Reds went Dutch last weekend - and I don’t mean halving the points with Ilkeston.

It’s all about confidence, confidence, confidence

DARREN Edmondson got it spot on this week by finding the root of the problem that has led Workington Reds to win just once this season.

Don’t you just love it?

WE MIGHT be just a couple of games into the new season, but this year’s Premier League is already shaping up to be a good one.

Injuries hurt Workington Reds

WITH the number of injuries that Reds have had to deal with, it was no surprise to me that the team haven’t started as brightly as many fans would have hoped.

Not the best start for Workington Reds

may 0708 WITH all the hype surrounding the first game of the season it was a bit disappointing to see such a flat performance by Workington Reds against Hinckley last weekend.

My neck on the line

IT’S easy to say with hindsight how we envisaged things going, so I’m going to put my thoughts on Reds’ season ahead down on paper for you all to judge me on come next April.

My fantasy is not to get any ribbing at work

FOR weeks now I’ve been scouring the sports pages of the national rags with a pen, a scrappy piece of paper and a calculator.

Playing for Dave

HEARING the news that Kyle May’s dad Dave had passed away over the weekend was a bitter pill to swallow for me.

Forget Ronaldo - we've got Caig

REAL Madrid might have already broken the £200m mark on bringing in new talent, but Reds boss Darren Edmondson isn’t far behind them.
