Creighton Rugby Club strip for the Sport

THE Daily Sport newspaper is not one of Reiver’s regular reads. In fact I could find very little news in it, beyond the revelation that “Pop punk Pete Wentz has opened a bar where people can have sex in the bogs”.

But the men of Creighton Rugby Club in Carlisle are evidently avid readers, to the extent that their kit features photographs of Sport models.

Last week the paper reported that the Creighton lads’ tops “now show 21-year-old Wakefield wonder Hannah Claydon in all her 30FF-23-32 glory.”

Player Simon Turner was quoted as saying: “It keeps us amused off the pitch by looking at them and gives us that extra spurt of energy during matches.”

The report concluded with the news that the Sport sent 22-year-old identical twins to “whip off their strips” as further encouragement to the team. The club has had great success with their new kit, possibly because their opponents tend to be somewhat distracted by it.

Yes - we shouldn't have to pay

No - we'll just end up paying the county in some other way, like council tax
