WORKINGTON U12s have won the Cumbria Basketball League, ending the season in Kendal unbeaten.
There were some great all-round performances on the final day, Grant Park and Lewis Robinson not only scoring but also making some great assists. Ben Cain and Jake Martin were on form with their shooting.
Their closest game was against Kendal where Workington really had to battle hard for an 8-4 victory.
David Herbert got the key basket to edge Workington to a glorious finish.
Matthew Riley and Benjamin Lyall-Smith ran riot against Whitehaven to complete a great day and Workington’s third tournament win.
Workington results were: Workington 26 Maryport 2, Workington 18 Carlisle 0, Workington 8 Kendal 4, Workington 20 Whitehaven 0.
