FINALS PAIR: Pam Hind and John Duncan are through to the John Chapman Memorial Darts Tournament finals night

John Duncan with Pam Hind and Paul Tuck with Heather Steele the last pairs to qualify.

The stats for the last qualifying night were not so good as the other nights - just one 180, three 140s and 47 scores of 100 or more.

Duncan got the 180 in the semi-final against Mark Harris and Leanne Howard while Hind hit four 100-plus scores in their quarter-final.

There were quite a few pairs who have attended every week and the organisers are grateful for all their support.

Tuck and Steele looked like they should have qualified in the early weeks but with very little luck never made it.

To their credit they kept trying and had another good night of darts. Over the weeks Tuck has hit countless maximums and 140s with Steele having plenty of 100-plus scores.

The eight final night pairs are: Norma Skelton and Mike Reid, Emma Nattrass and Mark Steele, Kerry Wilkinson and Les Reid, Bill Hoskins and Sas Bode (2009 sinners), Stephen and Dawn Stevenson, John Blaney and Michelle Black (Blaney a winner in 2005 with Val Mackins), John Duncan and Pam Hind, Paul Tuck and Heather Steele.
