Jarrad Stack and Hull KR players miss Workington Town's trip to Wales

Workington Town’s Hull KR trio will miss tomorrow’s trip to South Wales Scorpions (1pm).
Prop James Green, winger Nick Johnson and loose-forward Dave Petersen are unavailable for Town’s first away game of the new league season.
Back-rower Jarrad Stack is still troubled by a hamstring/hip problem and he will also sit out the match.
But Town should not lack ability out wide with John Patrick and Stephen Dawes available after recovering from knocks, and Elliott Miller back following his suspension.
Coach Gary Charlton has been happy with the efforts of his three KR dual registration youngsters and believes there is more to come from them later in the season.
“They are young players trying to impress, and you can’t knock their effort, the ability is there,” Charlton said.
“You can’t knock their attitudes either, they are great, but I don’t think we will see the best of them until two months down the line.”
Town will be no strangers to Scorpions boss Dave Clark after his several stints in charge at Barrow.
“Clarky will have them well-drilled and competitive, and they won’t want to lose their first home game,” added Charlton.
“They also have a few players in from Wigan who will strengthen them.”
Town went down 24-14 at home to Oldham in their Championship One opener last weekend, which makes a win tomorrow even more important.
“We went through the DVD and told the lads it wasn’t that Oldham were better than us,” Charlton said.
“But we didn’t control the ball. Completions of 45 per cent in the first-half and 48 in the second should have meant we weren’t in the game. And it was testament to the lads that we could still have won it.
“A few decisions went against us, but we can’t use that as the reason we lost.”
