HOW THEY MET: In October 2006 through the bride’s sister, Katie.
PROPOSAL: On their first holiday together in Ibiza in June 2007.
VENUE: St Paul’s Church, Seaton.
THEME: Pink sparkle, silver and love.
BRIDE’S OUTFIT: A white satin bodice encrusted with Swarovski crystals with a full tulle skirt and crystallised tulle underlay, from The Wedding Warehouse, Carlisle.
A pearl and crystal veil and diamante tiara.
GROOMSMEN: The groom’s friend Stephen Hall was best man and Anthony Gallacher and Ben Walsh were ushers.
They wore slate grey tailcoats, striped trousers, silver waistcoats and cravats from Well Suited, Cockermouth.
BRIDESMAIDS: The bride’s sister, Katie Bowman, was chief bridesmaid and the bride’s best friends Justine Hogarth and Sally Crelling were bridesmaids.
They wore magenta satin strapless dresses with encrusted beads, from Bridal House, Maryport.
The bride and groom’s niece Chloe White was flower girl and wore a white sparkle dress designed by the bride and made by Little Angels, Workington.
FLOWERS: The bride carried a traditional bouquet of calla lilies, roses and magenta freesias with diamante and pearl, from Seaton Garden Centre.
TRANSPORT: A cream Beauford open top tourer, Rolls Royce Silver Shadow in gold and a cream Mercedes Benz limousine, from A Touch of Class, Workington.
RECEPTION: Hunday Manor, Workington for 100 guests for a three-course meal and 200 guests for an evening reception with buffet.
TABLE SETTINGS: Fish bowls and tall vases with calla lilies, bear grass and crystals, scatter crystals on the tables and pink tea-lights.
Each table name was ‘I love you’ in a different language.
FAVOURS: Miniature bottles of perfume for the ladies and cuff-links for the men.
CAKE: A three-tier cake of fruit and sponge designed by the bride and groom and made by a family friend.
FIRST DANCE: Everything I Do, Bryan Adams.
The bride and groom took dance lessons with the best man’s father David Hall to learn a routine.
ENTERTAINMENT: Disco by Carl Langley from Flimby and singer Cheryl Smitham from Workington.
HONEYMOON: Egypt.
