Len lifts title for judging stock

TWO hundred competed for this year’s Border and Lakeland Holstein Club’s stockjudging title.

It was held over three nights at three farms and the open winner was Len Wilson from Skirwith Hall, Penrith.

The runner-up was John Bushby from Whangs Farm, Egremont, with John Hodgson from Holmes Mill, Burgh by Sands, coming third.

Neil Brough from Dalston won a travel scholarship to the Toronto Winter Fair after scoring the most points among young breeders.
