Workington Town Council have partnered with Workington Town RLFC to provide free rugby lessons to children of all age groups.
The sessions will take place every Wednesday, starting next week in Vulcan Park in Workington.
A spokesperson from Workington Town Council said: "The Council has a youth budget and wanted to put on free activities for children during the holidays.
"Workington Town were delighted and very keen to get involved."
The teams captain Jamie Doran will be holding the sessions.
Sessions for 6-9 year olds will be held from 10am-10:45am and 10-15 year olds sessions will be from 11am-12pm.
The sessions can accommodate up to fifteen people and their has already been lots of interest.
