Reason behind police road block revealed
The reason behind a police blockage of a road has been revealed.
A report was made of police blocking the roundabout exit route for the Distington bypass road at the Lillyhall end.
According to Cumbria police, the police were there to remove some tarpaulin on the road.
The tarpaulin has since been removed and the police have left.
