Next month will see two fun events at Maryport Marina for residents to enjoy.
On Saturday, July 16, there will be a fun day at the marina in support of Maryport Rescue and Maryport Yachting Association.

A spokesperson said: "There will be a lifeboat display in the harbour from noon, water games in the marina, local schools will be singing sea shanties. Please come along and join in the fun."
There will also be an aquarium touch pool, kids' rides, a bouncy castle and other activities for families.
At the same time there will be the Maryscruff Dog Show in aid of Maryport Lifeboat station.
People can register their pets from 10am with them showing from noon onwards.
There will be three classes: pedigree, crossbreed and novelty.
The entire event will run from 10am until 4pm.
