A secondary school ensured students got to school with dry feet this morning.
Netherhall School is on Netherhall road in Maryport, which often experiences localised, short-term flooding when it rains.
This morning's rain, however, coincided with school opening.
The school's minibus was deployed to pick children up from one side of the deep puddle, which also covered a section of pavement, to take them to the dry school grounds.
Students were picked up at the Netherhall Rugby Club on Mealpot Road from 8am.
