A WORKINGTON school is celebrating the first year of a partnership that enables 'intensive support' for pupils across West Cumbria around STEM subjects.
On Tuesday, June 27, St Joseph’s Catholic High School hosted a community day at the school to celebrate the first year of the Enthuse Partnership.
St Joseph’s are the lead school for the partnership, funded by Nuclear Waste Services, which enables intensive support around Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths learning across Allerdale.
The school will now look forward to the second year of the successful partnership.
A spokesman for St Joseph's Catholic High School said: "St Joseph’s, Netherhall School, Flimby Primary School and Seaton Junior School came together to work with staff, students and staff from Nuclear Waste Services to enjoy a day of STEM activities.
"The day was a great success, and the partnership schools are now looking forward to their second year.”
