Round six of The Jemcare Darts League was the night of the big fishes - with not one but two 170 checkouts. 

13 players took to the oche in a great night of darting drama.

First up was young Dynamite Devon Hardie picking up a 4-2 win over Robbie Murray in a closely fought match.

David Turnbull then put Mark Lavin to the sword in a 6-0 Whitewash.

Next up was Craig Lewthwaite beating Leo Thompson 5-1 to retain third place. 

Ben Nicholson then picked up a big point against 2nd place Des Halbert in a 3-3 Draw, both men recording maximum 180s in the match. 

David Turnbull backed up his first win with a 4-2 win over the Flying Scotsman Malcolm McLeish. 

David Cunningham edged a tight encounter over Shaun Clow 4-2 to continue his unbeaten run. 

Adam Jenkinson knocked in the performance of the night with a 6-0 win over Devon Hardie, recording a 82.73 Average and Railing in the big fish in the first leg of the match.

Malcolm McLeish bounced back from his loss to beat Leo Thompson 5-1 hitting a maximum 180 in the process. 

Adam Jenkinson then finished his night with another Whitewash this time beating Robbie Murray 6-0.

Dave Weaver picked up a great point in a 3-3 Draw against 3rd place Craig Lewtwaite, 

A close battle ended 3-3 between Ben Nicholson & Mark Lavin. 

In the penultimate game of the night Des Halbert got back to winning ways with a 6-0 win over Robbie Murray. 

The final game of the night saw first place David Cunningham beat Dave Weaver in a 5-1 win. Dave hitting the second big fish of the night in the final leg checking out 170 on the Bull.

Round seven of the Jemcare Darts League is back next Tuesday at the Workington Royal British Leigon. Organisers thanked Jemcare and RAF engineering for their continued support.
