HOSPICE at Home West Cumbria are asking the local community to get behind them and host their very own ‘Cake Off’ this September to raise vital funds for the charity to enable them to deliver their services across West Cumbria.
The Great British Bake off will be hitting our screens this September, so Hospice at Home have decided to cook up a storm and have their very own ‘Cake Off’. It literally is a piece of cake to get involved, all you need to do is gather your friends, family or work colleagues and host a cake sale to support your local Hospice.
Holly Harkness Community Fundraiser for Hospice at Home West Cumbria said “This is the perfect excuse to indulge in some tasty treats while supporting a worthy cause. We have put together a free digital fundraising pack to add an element of fun to your day and look forward to hosting our very own ‘Cake Off’ at Hospice at Home West Cumbria”.
Every penny raised from the ‘Great Hospice Cake Off’ will go towards helping patients, their families and carers living in West Cumbria ensuring the charity can continue to provide Home Nursing, Emotional Support, Complementary Therapies, and Lymphoedema Care when and where needed.
Organisation is key to hosting a successful bake sale - anyone that would like to host their own ‘Cake Off’ in their home, workplace or community club should contact the fundraising team on info@hhwc.org.uk, or 01900 873173 and request their digital fundraising pack.
