Cumbria Police dealt with a group of youths who were using fireworks.
The youths were using fireworks in an antisocial manner at the docks area of Workington.
The remaining fireworks were confiscated from them and they were asked to leave the area.
A spokesperson said: "PCSO 5421 and PC 2494 attended a report of the antisocial use of fireworks near Workington Docks this evening.
"A group of youths were found to be using fireworks without consideration for other members of the public nearby.
"These youths were provided with words of advice about the danger of fireworks and asked to leave the area. A quantity of fireworks were left in the area and disposed of by police."
