CUMBRIA is set for a 'cloudy' Christmas day with some outbreaks of rain, according to an update for the Met Office.
The whole of the North West is set to expect a cloudy Christmas, however temperatures are expected to be mild, with maximum temperatures of 12C.
An update from the Met Office said: "A rather cloudy Christmas Day with outbreaks of rain, perhaps persistent for a time in the south. Blustery winds increasing again by the evening as rain slowly eases. Mild. Maximum temperature 12 °C."
However, the region will see drier with brighter spells on Boxing Day. Becoming unsettled once again from Wednesday with strong winds and heavy rain at times.
