THE Letters to Heaven post box has been re-installed in Workington.
This comes after the post box was destroyed in an act of criminal damage earlier this month.
The box was installed to help families in the area overcome grief.
It is located in Vulcans Park and allows people to write letters, cards, and messages to those they have lost, and post them to heaven.
Workington Town Council has announced that the box has now been re-installed.
A spokesperson said: "Our Letters to Heaven post box has now been re-installed in the park. A big thank you and well done to our Estates Team for their welding skills and for getting this repaired and back in place so quickly."
