A Lake District hotel has officially reopened following a two-month renovation.

The newly reimagined Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa, located in Keswick, reopened on March 8 following an extensive two-month refurbishment project.

Over the course of two months, the Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa, which is part of the Lake District Hotels group, has been partly closed and undergone a comprehensive renovation including a ground floor refurbishment and the installation of a new state-of-the-art kitchen.

Director of the family-owned Lake District Hotels group Dani Hope said: "We recognised the need to evolve and enhance the guest experience, aligning the entire hotel with the modern luxury and style exemplified by The Falls Spa. With the completion of this refurbishment, we're excited to offer our guests an elevated level of comfort and sophistication that will satisfy the evolving tastes of the modern guest."

The hotel will also unveil a completely new state-of-the-art kitchen, representing a £600,000+ investment to elevate the culinary experience for guests.

In addition to these enhancements, the Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa is poised to unveil a new dining experience with the imminent opening of ‘Falls Brasserie,' helmed by a talented new head chef.

The total investment in the project stands at £2.5 million, highlighting Lake District Hotels' dedication to maintaining the highest standards of excellence across its six properties.

Dani added: "Looking ahead, Lake District Hotels remains steadfast in its commitment to ongoing investment and innovation, with plans to refurbish additional hotel bedrooms later this year.

"Just last year, we invested over £1.5 million into refurbishing the Borrowdale Hotel located further down the valley, the Kings Arms Hotel in the centre of Keswick and developed a new outdoor terrace at the Inn on the Lake on Ullswater.

"The feedback on those projects was tremendous, so we are excited to hear what guests have to say about the much-anticipated Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa overhaul."
