A LAKE District adventure company is celebrating its ten-year anniversary with a special offer.

Keswick Extreme, based at the town's Southey Hill industrial estate, offers outdoor activities from ghyll scrambling and paddle boarding to 'river tubing' to individuals, couples and families.

The company has purpose-built changing rooms with toilet and bag storage at its adventure base. Clients are transported to activities in Keswick Extreme’s vehicles and action photos are included for free.

Its directors have been in the outdoor industry for more than 30 years.

Director Sean O’Rouke said: "We’re passionate about getting people outside and stepping out of their comfort zones in complete safety with our experienced guides; this is what motivates us, we love to see people's surprise as they do something different and find out how much they enjoy it.

"In an age where mobile phones are taking over our lives, there’s no better time to be taking the plunge with exhilarating outdoor activities."

The company works with other local businesses including its 'Ghyll and Fill', where hungry adventurers receive a discounted lunch from Hayley at Keswick’s popular newly-reopened Filling Station café.

As a thanks to all its clients and to celebrate its 10-year anniversary, Keswick Extreme have a 10 per cent discount off all activities booked before Easter Monday.
