A woman has been charged with shoplifting after an incident at a town's Superdrug this month.

It happened in the Workington branch on April 4 this year.

Bail conditions not to enter the store have been imposed, and she is due to appear at court shortly, but no date has been revealed yet.

A spokesperson from Cumbria police said: this serves as 'a reminder to those stores not yet signed up to the shop scheme link service'.

"This is a bit like the old shop watch and assists us to get our regular sticky-fingered clients banned from the stores," they said.
