NEW food hygiene ratings have been awarded to three of Barrow establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Women's Community Matters at The Nan Tait Centre, on Abbey Road, Barrow was rated five out of five on April 15.

This means that their standards were found to be 'very good', including the hygienic food handling, the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and the management of food safety

The same rating was given to Mays Thai Treats at 15 Anchor Rod on April 3. The inspectors found the hygienic food handling and the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building to be 'good' and the management of food safety 'very good'.

Diamond Restaurant at 250 Dalton Road, was rated four out of five on March 27. The inspectors found the hygienic food handling 'generally satisfactory', the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and the management of food safety 'good'.
