A WORKINGTON man who has been a lifelong fan of Manchester City has shared his experience with Andy's Man Club to promote a new partnership between the men's mental health group and the football club.
Steven Brown is the lead co-ordinator for Andy's Man Club in Workington.
The club was the first of the groups in Cumbria for men who are struggling with mental health, and as a lifelong City fan, Ste has helped the club to promote their new partnership.
He joined fellow Manchester City fans Martyn and Omar as well as Dan Rowe, senior project development champion at Andy’s Man Club, to discuss the new partnership and what Andy's Man Club means to them.
Steven Brown said: "My positive reason for being here is because I love Manchester City and I want everybody who supports Man City to reach out if they need to for Andy's Man Club."
Dan Rowe said: “A massive thank you to Man City for inviting myself and three of our volunteers along to the Etihad Stadium to create this video ahead of our group launching on May 13.
“Omar, Steve and Martyn are all huge City fans and huge advocates of the support AMC offers and they are overjoyed to see City opening its doors to the wider community of East Manchester.
“From an organisational standpoint, a group opening in East Manchester will further our support in the Greater Manchester region and make our face-to-face groups even more accessible.”
The first session of Andy’s Man Club will take place in the East Stand of the Etihad Stadium, from 7pm to 9pm on Monday, May 13.
