A man is in a serious condition after being flown to hospital following an incident in West Cumbria.
The man, in his 50s, suffered a cardiac arrest at a house on Oxford Street in Workington just before 2pm today.
A land ambulance attended the scene and later requested an air ambulance, which landed at the nearby leisure centre, before flying him to Carlisle's Cumberland Infirmary.
A spokesman for the Great North Air Ambulance said following the 13-minute flight, the man arrived in a serious but stable condition.
