Arrests have been made following drugs raids in west Cumbria.

Police officers executed two warrants in Workington on Wednesday as part of a drugs operation.

The first was at an address in Cross Street around 11.45am where they arrested a 35-year-old man for possession of class A drigs with intent to supply. He has been bailed until January 16, pending further investigation.

A second warrant was executed at the same time in Casson Road.

Officers there arrested a man, 35, and a woman, 38, on suspicion of possession of class A drugs with intent to supply. Both have been bailed until January 30.
