A 10-day art exhibition is to be held in Fletchertown.
Solway Arts has organised the exhibition at All Hallows Community Centre.
It will run from August 19 to 28 and will be open from 11am to 4pm each day.
Spokeswoman Caroline McKenzie said the exhibition is promising a treat for everyone.
She said: "We have several exciting local artists including Helen Fryer. She now lives in Edinburgh but is from Fletchertown. One of her paintings features on the cover of a book by Marie-Elsa Bragg, Melvyn Bragg's daughter."
Other locals include Robina Moore, stone sculptor Rowena Beaty and stain glass artist Brian Campbell.
She added: "We also have work by photgorapher Steve Johnston who used to live in Fletchertown and whose works have been displayed in the Tate Gallery."
Admission is free and around 90 per cent of the works of 30 different artists will be for sale.
