HIGHLY acclaimed autism expert Geoff Evans will be returning to Cumbria to talk about 'managing challenging behaviour at home' next week.

Two seminars will be held at the Wave Centre, Maryport on September 20 from 1pm to 3pm and again from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.

Geoff will also hold a seminar at Penrith Methodist Church on September 21 from 1pm to 3pm.

He was invited to the Wave Centre to talk by local charity Owl Blue, which works with families affected by autism across the area.

Stuart McDougall, founder of Owl Blue, said: "Geoff is one of the countries top speakers and has 35 years of experience in this area.

We are extremely pleased to acquire Geoff's services again. There isn't a lot of information out there for people".

The talk is open to anyone including parents, carers, grand parents and teaching professionals.

Mr Evans has been a social worker since the 1970s and is experienced in working with children on the autistic spectrum.

In 2016 more than 100 West Cumbrian parents and professionals attended a seminar held by Geoff in Maryport.
