Riding a motorcycle after drinking alcohol cost a Maryport man his driving licence.
Thomas Ian Cameron, 25, of James Street, was caught at the controls of the 18-reg Sinnis bike on Ellenborough Place the town on September 22.
A test showed he had 48mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath at the time. The legal limit is 35mcg.
Cameron admitted the offence when he appeared at West Cumbria Magistrates Court in Workington.
He was banned from driving for 14 months. Magistrates also ordered him to pay a £346 fine, £85 court costs and a £35 surcharge.
