Cello ensemble to come to Workington
A German cello ensemble is heading to Workington as part of its UK tour.
Cellikatessen will perform at Our Lady And St Michael's church on August 29.
The repertoire from Baroque to popular music, includes Johann Pachelbel's Canon, Samuel Barber's Adagio For Strings, Besame Mucho and Hommage A Georges Boulanger.
The ensemble is made up of 13 young cellists aged between 16 and 22, cellist and teacher Roman Guggenberger and a double bass.
The show starts at 7pm and tickets cost £8.
