A woman has ended up with a £1,000 court bill after assaulting a man and using threatening behaviour towards him.
Sally Anne Phillips, 39, of Casson Road, Workington, appeared at West Cumbria Magistrates Court and admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour.
She denied the assault charge but was found guilty after a trial.
The court heard that the offences took place in Workington on February 16.
Phillips was fined £360 and ordered to pay £620 court costs and a £30 surcharge.
