A fiancee at the centre of an alleged fraud - after a groom-to-be claimed he was conned out of £13,000 - has been arrested.
Rachel Doran, 29, was held by police on suspicion of fraud by false representation.
She has since been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
Chris Mahone, 27, of Cleator Moor, had been due to fly out to Ibiza for his stag do with 29 of his friends - who had each stumped up almost £450 to pay for the four-day trip.
But it is reported that, when the Sellafield worker and his stags turned up at Leeds airport last Thursday for their early morning flight, they were told by airline staff that their tickets were fakes.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: "Cumbria Constabulary can confirm that a 29-year-old woman, from Cleator Moor, was arrested yesterday evening on suspicion of fraud by false representation.
"She has since been released under investigation while enquiries continue."
