Firefighters called to tackle car fire on A66 in Workington
Firefighters from Workington's fire station were called to put out a car on fire at a layby on the A66.
It happened in the Stainburn area of Workington, with crews called to the scene at 4.49pm this evening.
The vehicle was well alight on arrival and two firefighters used breathing apparatus, a hose reel jet and tools to extinguish the blaze.
Crews were in attendance for approximately 25 minutes.
