A flat fire sparked a late night 999 response in west Cumbria.
Two crews from Workington fire station were dispatched to the incident in a ground floor flat in the town's Nook Street, at about 11.15pm yesterday.
The occupant had fallen asleep with a grill pan on, and the unattended pan subsequently caught fire.
The fire was out on arrival, but crews removed the pan, ventilated the flat and offered advice.
They were on scene for about an hour.
