A Happy Halloween Hunt will be held in Cockermouth town centre next week.
The Friends of Lorton School are organising a fundraising bat trail around the shop windows during half term.
From Saturday, children can pick up a sheet from The Toy Shop for £2, it tells them which shop windows to look in to find the hidden baby bats.
Everyone who returns a completed form will be given a sweet treat. Their sheets will then be entered in a prize draw.
The trail, which is raising money for a new community playground in Lorton, will be running for a week.
