Former Cumbria newsreader India Willoughby has been embroiled into a Celebrity Big Brother storm.
The former ITV Border newsreader fell out with Amanda Barrie after she called India a "man" for the second time.
Despite Amanda trying to apologise, India was reluctant to accept the apology.
India said: "I take great offence of that.
"People have been asking questions and I have explained my story.
"It wasn't the topic of conversation and you misgendered me.
"I don't expect to be mis-gendered."
In a later exchange, India continued: "I am a real woman. I am a real woman.
"I'll say it one more time, 'I'm a real woman'
"I spent 50 years of my life in the wrong body - I felt extremely trapped."
TV journalist Rachel Johnson later defended India in a conversation with Ann Widdecombe and Amanda Barrie.
She said: "I'm afraid the reason she is cross is that it tells her that she is still seen of as a man."
After sitting in the Big Brother garden alone for 32 minutes, India was approached again by actress Amanda Barrie.
In an exchange with India, Amanda said: "I am very fond of you. I can only apologise. I'm 82 and I made a mistake, I am very sorry."
The apology was ignored by India, before she muttered something under her breath.
When Amanda had walked away, she muttered: "You're right Amanda, silly me taking offence. Apology not accepted."
