Keswick will switch on its Christmas lights on Friday, November 24.
Internet stars springer spaniels Max and Paddy will be guests of honour.
A Christmas food and gift fayre will take place between 10am and 7pm.
Entertainment will include performances from singer songwriter Kev Kendal and West Cumbrian choir Committed To Rock.
The Lake District Tree of Light, organised by the town's Rotary club, will be switched on at 6.30pm.
The town's Christmas lights will be switched on at 7pm.
