Police are concerned for the welfare of two teenage boys with links to Cumbria.

The two 14-year-olds, Alfie McIntosh and Damian Howes, were last seen four days ago.

Officers are urging anyone with information about their whereabouts to contact them.

The boys were last seen at Appley Bridge train station, in West Lancashire, at around 10.45pm on Saturday.

Damian is believed to be wearing a dark grey and black marble effect tracksuit and black Nike trainers.

Alfie was last seen wearing a grey Adidas tracksuit with blue stripes and black & grey Nike trainers.

Both boys are believed to have links to Cumbria, as well as Brighton in Sussex.

A police spokesman said: "Given their age, we are concerned for their welfare and we would urge anyone who has seen them, or has any information which could help us, to call 101."
