AN exhibition of art by Bob Dylan, featuring 14 new pieces signed by the legendary American musician, goes on display in Cumbria this bank holiday weekend.

The framed limited edition graphics which make up Dylan's 2018 Drawn Blank Collection are being released across the UK from Friday May 25 - the day after the singer-songwriter's 77th birthday.

Friday's unveiling at the Treeby & Bolton gallery in Lake Road, Keswick is the only one in Cumbria and is being closely guarded, with no advance images released on the 10th anniversary of the launch of Dylan's original and hugely-successful Drawn Blank series.

Libbie Barton, manager of Treeby & Bolton, says: "We are so excited to have Bob Dylan's latest artwork on display here in Keswick from the very first day of its release.

"Dylan's work is highly prized and his previous collection has increased in value considerably since they were launched."

"We sold out last time we had his work here six years ago, so we know just how popular he is and what a following he has."

The latest autographed collection is described as a "visual autobiography of his travels" and includes a rework of Train Tracks, one of Dylan's most celebrated paintings.

All signed by Dylan, they come in a limited edition of 295, of which Treeby & Bolton's allocation is numbered 262.

For his new Drawn Blank instalment, Dylan has revisited and repainted 14 of his favourite images from more than 100, spanning the last 10 years.

The pieces are available from the Treeby & Bolton gallery or its website, www.treebybolton.co.uk
